RAFA offers five types of membership
The RAFA season runs from June through July. Dues are paid annually, generally in July or early August.
Membership Dues
- $15 Student Membership
Student members of RAFA range from elementary school beginners through graduate school students who are pursuing a career in music.
- $25 Adult Member
Our adult membership includes those who are simply music lovers and perhaps renewing their interest in the flute, through professional flutists who teach and perform in the community.
- $35 Family Membership
The family membership is very economical and works well for families who have multiple RAFA participants. We are always happy to have several members of your family take advantage of RAFA membership!
- $400 Life Membership
This is a tax-deductible, one-time fee. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a life member of RAFA.
- $100 Corporate Sponsorship
Become a corporate sponsor of RAFA. In addition to having your advertisement appear in our Tune In newsletter, we will list you on the Sponsors page of our website with a link to your website.

RAFA, a nonprofit corporation founded in 1985, currently lists a membership roster of over 300 flutists. We support activities through membership dues and contributions from both individuals and businesses throughout the area as well as nationwide. All gifts are tax deductible.

Flute Choirs & 2nd Winds
RAFA members are entitled to free admission to all RAFA events and are kept informed of local flute happenings through the organization's newsletters and brochure.
