Guest artist Amy Porter is associate professor flute at the University of Michigan, where she received the 2006 Henry Russel Award for distinguished scholarship and teaching. Winner of several international competitions, including the Paris/Ville d'Avray International Flute Competition in France, the Kobe International Competition in Japan, and the NFA Young Artist Competition. Ms. Porter was also former associate principal flute of the Atlanta Symphony.
